It has been three years since COVID-19 was declared a pandemic. Despite the unpredictable situation, Metis has continued to go with the tide and holds a firm foothold on the strategy of steady growth. In addition to recording a year-on-year increase in new business over the past seven years, Metis has also successfully entered the Southeast Asian market. Continually pushing ourselves to be the "Partner for Trust", we not only make clients feel assured that we have their best interest in mind, but we also motivated our colleagues and business partners to be more dedicated to their profession. Our effort is recognized, and we are honoured to once again receive the “Excellence Award of Trustee Service” from Bloomberg Businessweek Chinese Edition.

In the pandemic era of adaptation and transformation, nations, enterprises, and individuals all do their utmost to seek growth and survival amid the unprecedented storm. Going forward de-globalization and geo-economy are critical factors that will inevitably exert tremendous influence on the development of financial services and products. Nevertheless, Metis will continue to lead clients and Business Partners forward and strive to be the most reliable partner in trust.
In recent years, the awareness of “sustainable development” has been trending globally. Metis, however, has been ahead of the trend. Metis has incorporated this concept in its product design, client services, cooperation with business partners, and corporate social responsibility since its establishment in 2013.
The essence of trust is also strongly interwoven with sustainable development, as clients’ assets can be passed on, therefore benefitting the next generation and other descendants. Excellence in client service and business relations are cornerstones of any organization’s sustainable development bringing unlimited opportunities.
Another area of sustainable development that Metis cares deeply about is education, as we believe knowledge is power. Instead of giving people fish for today, teach them how to fish for a lifetime. Therefore, we have continued to aid various schools and organizations in need. In this way, we equip the community to enhance their social condition.
Metis is also working towards the goal of being paperless and promotes electronification continuously. In addition to contributing to energy saving and carbon reduction, it is expected that through these changes, the concept of sustainable development can be conveyed to our business partners and clients.

Speaking of the current situation, Dr. German Cheung, Founder and Chairman of Metis Global Group, opines that “Challenges arising from the pandemic and closed borders are being replaced by geo-politics and economic uncertainty in many regions, yet we remain cautiously optimistic in 2022 that Metis will consolidate its market status and continue to focus on the pursuit of growth in 2023.

Limited and through collaborating with local licensed financial advisories and banks, Metis believes affordable trust protection will be in demand. Meanwhile, Metis will strengthen its portfolio choices in Metis Global Limited and Metis Global (Cook Islands) Limited and strive for the development of new financial commodities.”

In May this year, Metis has officially become the first international professional partner of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in Asia and we are proud to have the opportunity to work with such a professional organization. The partnership with CII not only recognizes Metis’ hard work in the industry, but it will also be beneficial to Metis’ members to enhance our professionalism and strengthen the Group’s reputation.
We will continue to consolidate existing development strategies and optimize client services and experiences to provide professional market analysis and assist our business partners to grow.
